Semuliki National Park, Uganda
Location:
Located in western Uganda, within the Albertine Rift Valley, in Bundibugyo District. It borders the Democratic Republic of Congo and is near Lake Albert.
Size:
Approximately 220 square kilometers.
Highlights:
- Biodiversity:Â Hosts over 400 bird species, including the rare shoebill stork, as well as primates like chimpanzees, baboons, and forest elephants.
- Hot Springs:Â The famous Sempaya Hot Springs feature geysers that spout hot water and are believed to have healing properties.
