Murchison Falls National Park is one of Uganda’s most renowned wildlife reserves, located in the northwestern part of the country. Covering approximately 3,893 square kilometers, it is famous for the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge, creating a dramatic waterfall. The park is home to diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. It offers excellent game viewing, boat safaris, and hiking opportunities, making it a popular destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Established in 1952, Murchison Falls National Park is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site called the “Kidepo Valley and Murchison Falls Conservation Area.”
The best time to visit is during the dry seasons, from June to September and December to February, when wildlife sightings are easier and the roads are more accessible.
The park is home to elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, leopards, hyenas, hartebeests, and numerous bird species including the shoebill stork and kingfishers.
We offer customized safari packages, transportation arrangements, guided tours, and accommodation bookings to ensure a seamless and memorable experience at Murchison Falls National Park.
